Education and care environments in Australia have to provide a safe workplace for all employees, students, visitors & contractors.
This course is ideal for meeting these obligations in case of an accident or injury to anyone on the Care or Educational Facility premises.
This course covers skills and knowledge required to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and management of first aid practices in line with ARC (Australian Resuscitation Council) guidelines in an Education or Care setting.
The course consists of a pre-course workbook followed by approximately 8 hour face to face training.
HLTAID004 - “Provide First Aid Response in Education and Care Settings” is valid for 3 years with an annual update of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills is recommended by Australian Resuscitation Council and specified by the Code of Practise - First Aid in the Workplace.
