Both the Asthma and Anaphylaxis training courses are valid for 3 years and take 1.5 hrs in duration for each course.

This course is designed to prepare the student for the requirement to safely assist a person suffering an asthma attack, until the arrival of medical assistance.

ANAPHYLAXIS TRAINING
22099VIC – “COURSE IN FIRST AID MANAGEMENT OF ANAPHYLAXIS”
VU20296 – “Provide first aid management of severe allergic reaction and anaphylaxis”
VU20297 – “Develop risk minimisation and management strategies for allergic reaction and anaphylaxis”
This course is designed to provide necessary knowledge & skills to administer correct first aid procedures and assistance to a person having a severe allergic reaction (anaphalaxis). It includes the use of an adrenaline autoinjector, such as an EpiPen or Anapen.
This course is ideal for all parents of young children and provides fundamental knowledge and skills to anyone working with children or with people of known severe allergies such as peanuts.
